OUR CONTRACT / HEALTH GUARANTEE

Awesome Paws hopes that that you will enjoy your new puppy for many years to come. We have taken the necessary steps to ensure that your new pet arrives healthy. Please read our Health Guarantee and understand exactly the procedure that needs to be followed, from the regular arrival check-up to ensure the puppy’s well being and validation of the guarantee to any claim that has to be made.

This pet health guarantee covers your puppy until five (5) years of age against any genetic or congenital disorder that adversely affects the health of your puppy. At expense of Purchaser, purchaser must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within three (3) days of receipt of puppy. Additionally, in the case where the puppy is purchased for breeding, a health certificate should be acquired and a copy should be forwarded to me within seven (7) business days. If, as a result of the examination, the veterinarian determines that the puppy is not in good health, then Purchaser may return the puppy to me for a full refund of the purchase price, not including shipping, return costs or veterinary bills.
PLEASE NOTE: Hypoglycemia, intestinal worms, giardia & coccidia are not covered under this guarantee. The latter three are common intestinal parasites found worldwide, so 100% parasite free cannot be guaranteed. Awesome Paws will not be responsible for veterinarian fees or costs. Also, this guarantee does not cover neglect or improper care by the purchaser. Only for genetic or congenital reasons will Awesome Paws replace the puppy free of charge or refund ½ of the purchase price to offset medical expenses. Should you opt to replace the puppy, a replacement puppy of equivalent value will be made available to you as soon as availability permits within a year. We do not require, but may reserve the right, to have the puppy in question sent back. Purchaser is responsible for the total transportation cost of the replacement puppy. If, for any reason, Purchaser is unable to keep this puppy, I shall be given the first right of refusal. At the sole expense of Purchaser, the puppy shall be returned to my possession and control and Purchaser shall execute all necessary documents to transfer ownership back to me. I agree to refund Purchaser an amount not in excess of the original purchase price (as listed above) and such refund will occur only at such time as I am able to place puppy and only in the amount that I am able to receive for such puppy. This does NOT guarantee that I can place said puppy for an amount equal to the original purchase price. I am under no obligation to personally make up the difference between the purchase price of the puppy and the amount received for re-placement of said puppy. If I am unable to place the puppy for money, the Purchaser waives any right to remuneration for said puppy and I am under no obligation to refund any monies to Purchaser. Size/Weight/Color: We estimate the adult size, weight and color; however, this is only an educated guess and is not guaranteed. This guarantee does not cover these items and no reimbursement/exchange will be made should these items differ from the estimate given.    

THIS CONTRACT IS MADE AND SIGNED BY BOTH PARTIES TO ENSURE THE WELL-BEING AND PROTECTION OF THIS PUPPY. THIS CONTRACT CONSTITUTES THE FULL AGREEMENT BETWEEN PURCHASER AND SELLER. NO OTHER WARRANTY, VERBAL OR WRITTEN, IS IMPLIED. THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS AND ANY LEGAL ACTION MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE COUNTY OF McHENRY, STATE OF ILLINOIS. READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED TO BETWEEN PURCHASER & SELLER.
